The last variant of the new Jaguar sportscar range, the XK120 Drophead Coupe, arrived in 1953. The original XK120 Roadster had captured the imagination of the press and public in 1948, 5 years before the more practical Drophead Coupe became available. This elegant car offered a snug, well trimmed and equipped cockpit that did away with the draughty side-screens of the Roadster version.
